In 1984, Salon International's owner, Kevin Sanders, graduated from Jordan College in Grand Rapids, Michigan with an Associate's Degree in Cosmetology.

Kevin moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 1989, where he obtained a position at a downtown hair salon.  With his professional, caring attitude he quickly acquired repeat clients. 

Kevin competed in a National and International Hair Competition and received a First place award for the best overall Hair Designer in CANADA and the UNITED STATES.

In 1992, Kevin opened Salon International in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.  Kevin is a hair extension expert, and has been doing 100% human hair extensions for 25 years.  Kevin utilizes a variety of hair extension techniques at Salon International, including Hair Fusion and Silk Cap Hair Application.

Kevin also helps clients suffering from hair loss, including those suffering from Alopecia Areata, Cancer and cancer Treatments.  We offer Wig Applications, Wig Care, Wig Styling Lessons, and  Human Hair Wig Styling on location.

Kevin is a make-up expert, and offers Make-up services and Make-up Lessons.
